Department of Dairy Science records

Scope and Contents

The collection consists of a variety of records relating to the Dairy Department at Michigan State University. Included are pamphlets and information handouts on various dairy subjects. Also included are records of the Michigan Artificial Breeders Cooperative, Inc. and the Michigan Dairy Herd Improvement Association. There are also scrapbooks showing Dairy Department events as well as folders of photographs.

Dora Hall Stockman papers

Scope and Contents Dora Hall Stockman was an East Lansing, Michigan resident and was actively involved in local affairs. The collection contains a typed transcript of her autobiography, correspondence, publications, and newspaper clippings of the various activities in which she participated.Stockman's primary interest was in the State Grange. As an active member she helped establish county Granges throughout the state and held several state offices including that of State Grange Lecturer (1914-1930)....

This collection consists of a pamphlet describing the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers' 1939 survey of the Great Lakes, their connecting waters, the New York Canals and Lake Champlain. It also contains a study of matters affecting the hydrology of the Great Lakes and their watershed. The pamphlet describes the work, history, methods, and products of the survey.
